After spending a considerable amount of time as a financial adviser with some of the largest financial services companies in America, one thing became clear.  All the traditional advice was not working...at least not for me or the vast majority of other Americans.

Despite all the advice being given by professionals - on the radio, television, newspaper, seminars, etc., most American's financial lives were deteriorating.  Consumer debt continued to rise, bankruptcies were reaching all time highs, divorce and family problems due to finances continued to grow.  It was obvious to me the age old advise of "plan, save and invest" was obsolete.  People couldn't do those things because of their debts.
